Midland & West Colour Format Show 2016
Please find a report for the fawns & brindles at the above show. Please note that this is done from my notes from 2016 so hope that it is accurate enough for you.
Thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge the Fawns and Brindles at this lovely well run and friendly show. I had a lovely day and had the pleasure of being able to go over some super dogs.
Fawns.
PD. 2 (1) 1st Donnelly’s Primus Breaking News. 7 mth boy who had a lovely head shape, good planes for age and drop of lip with super dark eyes. Good ear set with a beautiful arched neck . He had good bone nice straight front, good top line. Nice tight cat feet. Needs to tighten up but a nice baby.
JD. 2 (1). Alway’s Bourntwyn in For A penny With Weatherwax. 14 mth boy with a lovely head, dark eyes, good head planes and ear set. Good reach of neck with correct shoulder placement into a well filled chest. Level top line well angulated both front and rear. Nice tight cat feet. Moved with drive when settled.
PGD. 7(3). 1st McGuiness’s Dinahtron Don’t Stop Me Now. 18 mth rich fawn boy with super head with good length of foreface, good reach of neck, enough length of body with well let down hocks. Moved okay. 2. Chappell & Williams Selmalda the Journey JW. I initially thought that he would be my winner as he caught my eye immediately but unfortunately he was let down by his movement. He had the most beautiful head with darkest of eyes, good reach of neck and well filled chest good spring of rib, good angles fore and aft. 3. Robinson’s Preveli Be Yourself.
OD. 5. 1st and BD. Chappell’s Ch. Selmalda Koochie Ryder. This was a lovely boy with a super head and darkest of eyes good head planes and correct ear set. Ample reach of neck. Well filled deep chest with good spring of rib, good tuck up well boned with nice cat feet. Moved with drive. 2. Murrayvhale’s Zamu Zoran Giants May Be’s Place Murrayvhale. Nice rich fawn boy with a good headset and lovely reach of neck flowing in to correct lay of shoulder with deep filled chest. Nice tight cat feet just needs to strengthen in rear. 3. Holland’s Justinian It Must Be Magic.

PB. 6. 1st Donnelly’s Garsak City Of Angels at Primus NAF. 7mth pale fawn with good head planes good back skull into nice arched neck with lovely lay of shoulder. Nice depth of chest, nice angulation both front and rear. Moved out well . I will watch her future with interest. Lovely girl. 2. Donnelly’s Primus Timeless Style this girl had similar qualities of my class winner but was just smaller made all through another very nice puppy. 3. Lawson & Hunter’s Droolakiss Gold N’Glamour.
JB. 4(2). 1st. Baker’s Preveli Frozen Assest(AI) Rich red fawn girl with super head planes nice dark eye with ample depth of chest. Good tuck up short coupled with nice cat feet. Moved okay. 2. Danemoor Victoria . Pale fawn with a nice head and good reach of neck good topline movement needs to improve.
PGB. 7(3). 1st Day & Fry’s Janriche Miss Congeniality. Black masked fawn with super dark eyes lovely head planes nice reach of neck . Deep chested and well rounded rib cage strong rear end moved well. 2. Richard’s Vanmore Annie Oakley Another nice girl with good head shape and parallel planes into a well arched neck with good spring of rib and deep chest. Let down by her movement today. 3. Smalltall’s Fairytale.
OB. 8(2). 1st. Chappell’s Selmalda Zizi’s Journey. Rich fawn with lovely head and parallel planes and good drop of lip. Has that look of dash and dare. Good reach of neck. Super front with good depth of chest. Super tight cat feet. Good front and rear angulation moved out well. Best fawn Bitch. 2. Gray”s Jaydania Tennna See. Paler fawn with similar qualities to 1. Attentive to handler moved out steadily. 3. Dyson’s Selmalda Journey to Melody at Samdice.

JD. 1st Mason Richard’s. Nikami The Crusader. Super size pale golden brindle of good size and substance. Lovely head shape into nice length of neck. Deep chest with good topline. Super bone. Nice tuck up, moved okay.
PGD. 1. Harrison’s Droolakiss Re Attraction Via Emaneaz. Nice big brindle boy with a super head, good reach of neck, level topline , nice cat feet moved out well.
OD. 1.Whitehouse’s Rosenbach Justin Time. Nice boy head slightly wide good parallel planes enough length of neck good front, ample angulation both front and rear nice cat feet. Moved okay. 2. Lawson & Hunter’s Droolakiss Manson. Liked this boy when he came into the ring. Super head well bodied good tuck up. Moved okay.

PB. 1 Lawson &Hunter’s Droolakiss Stripe a Pose. Lovely girl with a nice head shape good earset and dark eyes. Good drop of lip. Ample reach of neck with lovely well filled chest. Nice tuck up and good angulation with good tight cat feet. Moved out steady.
PGB. 4. 1st Morrit’sJanriche Miss Independent. A nice girl with very good head shape lovely dark eyes and good drop of lip. Well placed ears and good back skull. Ample reach of neck. Good shoulder placement. Nice deep chest with good spring of rib. Good angulation and nice cat feet. Moved out steady. 2nd. Day & Fry’s Janriche Miss America. This was another nice girl with lovely head and expression similar qualities to 1. Moved okay. 3. Grierson’s Dainwood Treasure Trove At Jaydania.
OB. 2(1). Lawson & Hunter’s Droolakiss Kerfuffle. Pale brindle girl nice head, eye and ear set . Good reach of neck with level top line. Good bone and nice tight cat feet. Good spring of rib. Moved okay.BBB.
